‘Superheroes’ from Larne band deliver parcels to Roddensvale School pupils

The kindhearted effort took place in Larne on June 10.

The generous initiative was conduted by members of Constable Anderson Memorial Flute Band last night (Wednesday).

Commenting on the effort, a spokesperson for the band said: “The superheroes visited a total of 35 families around the town. We understand this may be a particularly difficult time for some of the children not being able to continue their daily routine, so it was great to see the smiles on their faces, as well as some of the adults.

“We would like to thank The Factory Community Forum and Antiville Residents’ Forum for their donations to make this possible as well as Alison McCombe for supplying us with the names and addresses of each child and thank you to anyone else who helped in any way.”
