Seamus O'Neill from Coalisland in Co Tyrone travelled to Barcelona alone last Saturday and his anxious family became concerned when they hadn’t heard from him in several days.

Mr O’Neill’s sister Shauna McStravick appealed for anyone who could help locate Seamus and said the family had contacted police and Interpol.

"If anyone is in the Barcelona area can you please look out for him or if anyone knows what more we can do please let us know. We as a family would appreciate any help or guidance,” she said.

She has since posted on social media that Seamus has been located and is safe.

"Thank you so much to everyone for all the messages and help,” she said.
