Refurbishment works completed at Larne community centre

Refurbishment works at Linn Road Community Centre have been welcomed following their recent completion.

Work at the facility included the replacement of concrete flags around the front of the entrance, the removal of side steps and the construction of low level walls to extend flower beds, the cleansing of all roofs, the replacement of fascia and soffit, the external render was painted, rear gates and fencing was redecorated and the main entrance doors and emergency exit doors were replaced.

Meanwhile, inside the site the main hall ceiling was replaced, new LED lighting was installed, the main hall doors were replaced, the main hall and foyer were redecorated and sanitary ware in toilets was replaced.

Welcoming the recent works, Larne Lough DUP Cllr Andrew Clarke said: “I am really pleased to see the council’s refurbishment of our community hall. It is now much brighter and welcoming.
