Larne singer to perform on UTV Life

An award-winning Soprano and violinist from Larne will be appearing on UTV Life this week.

Daisie Conway will be featuring on the show fronted by Pamela Ballantine alongside Voice winner Andrea Begley from Co Tyrone.

Daisie, who is currently studying Law at Queen’s University Belfast, has recorded a version of ‘Tell Him’ with the Pomeroy star.

The duo will perform their version of the Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand hit on UTV Life.

A spokesperson for UTV said: “Pamela chats to them both via Zoom before they perform the song.

“They are yet to meet and only hooked up over lockdown and recorded the song separately.”

Posting on Twitter ahead of the show, Daisie said: “So excited to be appearing on UTV Life with Andrea Begley discussing music and our lockdown duet. Hope you can tune in.”

The episode will be screened on Wednesday, March 3 at 8pm.

Last month the Times reported that the former Larne Grammar student is attracting the attention of music fans across the globe after a video she recorded during the first lockdown went viral online.
