Hearing aid clinic is ‘Hear to Help’

Action on Hearing Loss and the Northern Health Trust are helping people in the Ballyclare area make sure their hearing aids are in tip-top condition.

Local hearing aid users are being invited to attend monthly ‘Hear to Help’ drop in clinics at The Beeches, 76 Avondale Drive, BT39 9EB, where trained volunteers, who wear hearing aids themselves, will be on hand to give free, practical advice on cleaning and maintaining hearing aids.

They can help solve problems with hearing aids and offer advice on how to manage hearing loss with confidence.

The Northern Health and Social Care Trust have trained Action on Hearing Loss volunteers to assist people and signpost them to the Trust if they require hearing aid repairs or programming. The Trust will provide tubing and batteries for anyone in difficulty.
