Normal service restored on Larne railway line

Normal service has resumed on the Larne to Belfast railway line.

A spokeperson for Translink said that delays had occurred across the network after two passengers became ill.

“There were two separate incidents this morning in which rail passengers took ill and required emergency services at both Botanic and Lanyon Place stations in Belfast.

“There were knock-on delays on all railway lines. Normal services are currently being restored.”
