Built on the site of the previous building, the new library is designed innovatively to blend with the surrounding environment and maximise use of space to provide an attractive and welcoming community hub.

The internal space has been zoned to create a comfortable place for everyone offering a children’s library, a teenage area and browsing and study spaces.

The building has been designed to meet the needs of the local community and will enable Libraries NI to increase the number and range of programmes we provide. Thanks to our customers for their patience while the building work was ongoing. We hope that everyone in Moira and the surrounding area will use the new library.”
