Moore’s of Coleraine holds Christmas galaevent in store

Moores of Coleraine’s annual Christmas Gala event took place last Thursday.

Children from Barazina Youth Choir, live music from the Rick Swann jazz band, in-store demonstrations, beauty clinics, as well as fizz and plenty of sparkles set the tone for the official start of the Christmas season for the town centre retailer.

The store also used the event to raise money for two great causes - the Caring Caretaker raised a magnificent sum of £910 and £140 was raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind as part of its pamper, polish and prosecco event.

The event, which drew customers from across Northern Ireland, was used to showcase the huge variety of gifts currently available in the store across its fashion, beauty and home areas.

Commenting on the seasonal event, Store Director, Simon Colquhoun, told The Coleraine Times: “Christmas is just round the corner and it was great to see such a brilliant turn out to our annual festive event.

“Moores of Coleraine has been adding to its fashion, beauty and homeware brands over the past year and has a brilliant selection of gifts for Christmas from such brands as French Connection, GANT, Hunter and the recently launched Tommy Hilfiger.”

Simon told The Coleraine Times: “There’s something for all people and all ages but of course if you still can’t find what you are looking for then there’s always our gift card. “And with less than one month to go to Christmas there’s never been a better time to get started on your shopping – so spread a little Christmas joy over the festive season with a gift from Moores of Coleraine.”
