Men arrested after drugs and cash find

Two men were arrested in the Churchill Park area last Thursday afternoon following the seizure of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of £600.

Cash totalling £1,400, two counterfeit £10 notes and two mobile phones were also seized.

The goods were found in a parked car during a routine patrol by police.

The men, aged 21 and 24, were arrested for possession of Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply, possession of criminal property and possession of counterfeit currency.

Both were released on bail pending enquiries.
