McAfee auction attracts large numbers

McAFEE auctions sale last week, the contents of ‘Drumsaragh’, Edenbane Road, Kilrea, attracted large numbers, resulting in a large twin out, and many good results.

The sale at ‘Drumsaragh’ followed straight on from the sale of fine furnishings at McAfee auction rooms in Loughgall, where again there was a large turnout over the two days viewing.

 Demand was again strong for silver, with an unusual silver bowl realising £320, a three piece silver tea service £420, set of six silver forks £300, jewellery box £220, cased desert set £160, gold bangles £160 and £210, sapphire and diamond ring £150, five diamond ring £380, silver snuff box £140 etc.
