Marie Curie Flag Day thanks
Marie Curie thank the people of Lurgan and the surrounding area for their generosity in contributing to their annual Flag Day on Friday 4 September.
The total of £1,475.25 was raised. A special word of thanks was given to the volunteers who gave their time to collect and help make the day a great success - which will ultimately help people who are living with a terminal illness to stay at home in their own familiar surroundings with their families. Marie Curie have been carrying out their work for over 65 years, and last year cared for over 40,000 people across the UK.
