Man arrested in connection with Whiteabbey stabbing
POLICE investigating a stabbing in Whiteabbey last week have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
A 29-year-old man who was hurt in the incident, which occurred in the Abbeyville Park area on Thursday evening (February 7), had to be treated in hospital. His injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.
A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
