Police in Larne have arrested a man following a single-vehicle road traffic collision in the Deerpark Road area.
The incident took place shortly after 1.30am on Wednesday.
Police were in the area following a report of a white van acting suspiciously. Officers located the vehicle and signalled for it to stop, and when it failed to do so a short pursuit took place.
The van crashed and the two men in the vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Sgt Lowry said: ““A 43 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily injury, driving whilst unfit, driving whilst disqualified, no insurance and failing to stop for police. He has since been bailed until October pending further enquiries.”
As is normal procedure, the Office of the Police Ombudsman has been informed.
