Luigi welcomes a new chef to La Gondola

THE owner of La Gondola in Glengormley - Luigi Marcigot, has welcomed a new chef to his Italian restaurant on the Antrim Road.

Tiago Sousa, who hails from Florence, has been described by Luigi as “his right hand” when it comes to preparing fresh and delicious dishes from their motherland.

“What can I say, Tiago is indispensable to me in the kitchen, and he helps me prepare food for our customers. I welcome him to La Gondola and hope all those who dine here will be delighted with what we make for them to eat, as well as with the whole dining experience here,” said Luigi.

La Gondola is now open at lunchtimes, offering a business lunch between 12pm and 2pm, Tuesday to Friday. The lunch is priced at 4.95 and includes fresh pasta with a choice of five different sauces, chips and garlic bread. Diners can also order from the main menu if they so wish.

The restaurant is open between 5pm and 10pm for evening meals from Tuesday to Sunday. La Gondola is closed on Monday. To book a table, ring: 028 9084 2266.
