Locals enjoy Runher at Stormont

RUNHER’S autumn event returned to Stormont with lots of local women participating.

It kicked off with a Dash for Kids event and a 5k walk in aid of Childline followed by the 5k and 10k runs.

Race Director Michael Jenkins from Up and Running said: “This is a special event which encourages women of all ages to get out there and get healthy. Whether they walk or run it is the taking part that matters.”

Established in 2007, Runher is Northern Ireland’s largest female only running event. Runher’s May 2012 10K Coastal Challenge attracted a record number of 1200 participants.
