Ivor Wallace explained: “Normally we transmit on our own frequency but this year fUSe fm Ballymoney are allowing us to use their transmitter and frequency for the weekend.

“This means that not only will be going out live on 107.5fm locally but we will also be online worldwide onfusefmballymoney.com and via the Tunein app.”

Mr Wallace added: “You can pick the music for us to play on our many request programmes throughout the weekend by texting on 07936 007 888 or by ringing the studio on 028 276 68897 or email us on [email protected]

“We’ll be hearing about the land of the thunder dragon on Friday afternoon just before desert island discs. Later that evening Dr Barney and Noreen Lynch and Ann Bell will be telling Roberta about their trips to Albania.

“On Saturday Lindsay will play us some of the best love songs ever written and Andy will talk about crosswords. I’ll give you a clue. These are the words Jesus spoke when he was on the cross.

“From 7 to 9 on Saturday night we will leave the studio and broadcast live from the church. Our two hour praise and testimony programme is open for everyone to attend. Come and help us make a joyful noise. Then on Sunday Victor and Iris will play us some of our best loved hymns and songs and give us a wee bit of a background as to why they were written.

“Everyone is most welcome to attend our morning and evening services which again will be broadcast live. Come and be part of the broadcast at 11.30 and 6.30. Derek Reid will be speaking at both services.

“Before our final countdown to the end of our special weekend some of the ladies will be looking at the life of George Mueller and the plight of orphans in Russia today.

“Our trailer will be down at Castlecroft Square all day Thursday, Friday and as part of the monthly market on Saturday. Call with us there and have a chat or come on into The Ullans Centre (above Stephen Cairns Hairdressers) for a wee cuppa and a look around the studio.”
