LATEST: Man dies in Tyrone farm accident

The Health and Safety Executive are investigating the incident.

In a statement they extended their "deepest sympathies" with the man's family at this most difficult time.

Mid Ulster DUP MLA Keith Buchanan also expressed his sympathies to the family of the man.

"This is another tragic loss within the farming community. It once again reminds us all of the dangers particularly associated with slurry," he said. "My thoughts and prayers are with the family at the time of such devastating loss.

"I would also urge everyone working on farms to follow all the recommended safety procedures, particularly when working with slurry."
