Latest: Maghera Leisure Centre reopens but it’s cold showers until tomorrow morning
Power has been restored to Maghera Leisure Centre after it was forced close for a number of hours due to a damaged electricity line on Thursday evening.
“The centre is operating as normal, with the exception of hot showers which will not be available until tomorrow morning (25th September),” said a council spokesperson.
The power outage took place after an on site contractor cut a power cable.
Mid Ulster District Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
