Larne Bulk Buying Oil Club is now available for membership for those who wish to purchase oil at more affordable prices.

Local bulk buying oil clubs have formed as a means of purchasing large quantities of oil and thereby securing the lowest possible price per litre.

It enables members to order small quantities of oil, from as little as 200 litres, at a price negotiated by the club, where previously they would have paid a higher fee. This should make the purchase more affordable.

The club started ordering oil on September 27 and continues to place orders on a monthly basis. It is a non-profit, cross-community and cross-denominational venture, initiated by Larne Methodist Church, with grant aid from Ballymena Borough Council.

Enquiries can be emailed to and membership and order forms found online at

Registration forms are available from churches, the Book Nook Post Office, Cutting Crew Barbers, Elite UPVC, Ruby’s and Ballygally Community Centre.

Applicants should complete and return the form with the first year membership fee of £10 to the address provided. Order forms are also available from these locations. Orders must be received monthly before the 27th of the month.
