Katie could be a model nurse

A 20-YEAR-OLD woman from Londonderry is still walking tall after competing in the Miss Northern Ireland competition a couple of weeks ago.

Katie McAuley, from Limavady Road, is not just a pretty face, she is a second year student of nursing at Queen’s University, Belfast, and will graduate next year with a BA in nursing.

Undecided about whether or not to pursue competing in pageants, Katie, who is a daughter of Adrian and Nolene McAuley, and sister to Jodie, Cian and Poppy, has been following a second career - modelling - and given her willow wand figure, she will never be lost for work if she decides hospital wards are not for her.
