Haiti fundraising
MOYLE Council Chairperson, Cllr Cara McShane (Sinn Fein), last night (Monday) praised the work of local organisations and church groups for holding events to raise money to Haiti which was devastated by a major earthquake.
Because of that the Chairperson said she had consciously decided not to hold a Council appeal for funds.
She said she attended one fundraiser in the Rectory at Dunseverick on Saturday.
