Golf Club events in aid of little Jessica
Jessica, from Ahoghill, has ‘Apert Syndrome’ - a life long affliction.
The syndrome, which affects one in every 100,000 children and disrupts the normal growth of bone before birth, results in deformities of the head, hands, feet and face.

Hide AdThe club’s bar manager, Tracey Hughes hopes to raise money to help provide a hydrotherapy pool which Jessica needs to maintain strength in her arms and legs.
The first fund raising evening will be take place on Saturday July 25 with an evening of music provided by ‘Pure Blarney’. Tickets are priced at £10 per person.
“Harry, our restaurant chef has also put on a lovely menu for the evening for those who would like to dine and anyone who does choose to dine on the night will have a table reserved in the function room,” says Tracey.
On August 23, Tracey aims to raise more funds through a special golf day at the club.

Tracey adds: “I am also seeking sponsorship of £50 per hole and donations of raffle prizes. I am hoping we can raise as much as possible to make Jessica’s life a little more comfortable.”
