Deaths in the community

The death took place peacefully at hospital on May 28 of Irene Cooper, wife of Walter, 31 Princeton Avenue, Lurgan.

She was the mother of Judith and Faith.

Also regretted by sons-in-law Ian and Chris and grandson Christian.

Her funeral was on Thursday to Shankill Parish Church with interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Maureen Mulholland

The death took place peacefully at home on June 1 of Maureen Mulholland, nee McIlmurray.

She was the wife of Dermot, 20 Brankins Island Road, Gawley’s Gate.

She was the mother of Geraldine, Michael, Andrew, Damian, Kieran, Brian, Angela and the late Tony.

Her funeral was on Monday to St Patrick’s Church, Aghagallon, with interment in Maghernagaw Cemetery.

Daisy McAlernon

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on June 2 of Daisy McAlernon, wife of the late Hugh, 79 Wellington Street, Lurgan.

She was the mother of Kenneth, Michael, Paddy, Brenda, David, Noel, Pauline, Kevin, Colin, Karen and
Steven.

Her funeral was on Wednesday to St Peter’s Church with interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.
