Dead calves dumped at Hillsborough lay-by

Their plea comes after dead calves were dumped, along with other rubbish, at the lay-by at the start of the new year.

One of the concerned residents said: "This little lay-by is always being used by people to dump rubbish. It makes no sense as it is only a couple of miles from Drumlough Amenity Dump

"We have asked the council to put up a hidden CCTV unit there to catch these idiots but they say it is illegal. This strikes me as strange as we live in the country with the most CCTV per capita in the world."
