Danske Bank set to host Business Showcase Week

Business owners in Londonderry are being invited to apply to take part in a business showcase event being held in its Shipquay Place branch from Monday 2 December to Saturday 7 December.

Katherine James, Head of Small Business at Danske Bank said: “The businesses which will thrive and grow will be the ones which keep pace with change and adapt to new market places. There are many innovative and successful businesses in Londonderry and this is a great opportunity for one of those businesses to showcase their products and services to potential new customers in our branch in the heart of the town.

“The Business Showcase Week will culminate on the UK’s first Small Business Saturday on 7 December, which is all about encouraging small businesses to promote themselves in their local community and celebrating the role local, small, independent businesses have in our economy.”

Danske Bank’s Business Showcase Week is part of the bank’s new Business eVolution programme which aims to get small businesses thinking about the ways consumers now pay, shop, communicate and do their banking. This includes seminars in branches where small businesses can get expert advice and practical support on how to adapt and target the consumer of the future.
