Crumlin boy carries flame through Newtownabbey

Michael was chosen as one of Coca-Cola’s Future Flames – inspiring young people who use their passions in music, sport and environment to spread happiness in their communities.

Michael, an aspiring architect, wants to regenerate deprived areas and to design architecture that makes people stop and appreciate its beauty.

Last summer Coca-Cola launched a nationwide campaign to shine a light on the best of the UK and Northern Ireland’s youth. The most inspiring individuals were crowned as Future Flames and will now take their place on the Olympic Torch Relay.
