Vandals target cars parked overnight to view Twelfth parade in Magherafelt

A number of cars parked overnight in Magherafelt to view Wednesday’s Twelfth of July parade have been vandalised.

DUP Mid Ulster MLA Keith Buchanan said he is aware of three vehicles that have been deliberately 'keyed'.

"We believe there could be other cars damaged which have not yet been reported," he said. "It is important that owners report any damage caused to their car to the PSNI."

Describing it as “mean and despicable”, Mr Buchanan said the cars had been parked along the Moneymore Road.
