PSNI investigate sectarian attack

Foyle PSNI have appealed for information following what they believe was a sectarian attack in Londonderry on Wednesday, April 22.

A PSNI spokesman said a teenager was walking at Bond Street when he was chased by a group of about 16 youths onto Ebrington.

“Sectarian remarks were shouted at him,” he said.

“The perpetrators perceived their victim to be a Catholic.”
