Police investigating woman's death in Newtownabbey

Police officers have launched an investigation following the death of a woman in Glengormley.

In a statement issued to the Newtownabbey Times today (Wednesday), a PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 29-year-old woman in the Hollybrook Avenue area of Newtownabbey.

“A man in his 50s is currently assisting police with their enquiries.”

There are no further details at this time.
