Police investigating animal cruelty offences after puppies recovered in Larne

PSNI enquiries are ongoing with regards to animal cruelty offences after three puppies were recovered in Larne yesterday (Wednesday).

Commenting on the operation, a spokesperson for the PSNI’s Mid and East Antrim district said: “As a result of multi-agency work conducted today (March 10) involving the Larne and Carrickfergus Neighbourhood Policing Team, harbour security and the council, three puppies have been recovered and taken to be cared for.

“Enquiries are ongoing with regards to animal cruelty offences.”
