Penalty notices issued to motorists outside east Antrim schools

Police officers issued five fixed penalty notices to motorists outside schools in east Antrim during an operation in the district this morning (Thursday).

Detailing the operation, a PSNI spokesperson said: “This morning as part of Operation Roadsafe we have visited the roads beside a few schools in our area.

“Unfortunately, we have had to issue five fixed penalty notices and given advice and guidance to numerous other drivers.

“Our aim is speed reduction, but we will continue with enforcement when necessary.”
