Larne benefit fraudster convicted

A Larne man was convicted at Belfast Magistrates court on Tuesday for claiming benefit to which he was not entitled.

James Robinson (36), of Hampton Crescent, claimed Jobseeker’s Allowance totalling £557 fraudulently.

He was given 66 hours community service and fined £534.

He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
