Kells ATM incident: two men to appear in court

Two men have been charged following an alarm activation at an ATM in Main Street, Kells in the early hours of Friday, March 10.

A PSNI spokesperson confirmed the pair, aged 24 and 28, are expected to appear before Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday).

Both men have been charged with attempted theft and burglary with intent to steal.

"As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service,” added the PSNI spokesperson.
