Crews tackle 'deliberate' blaze in Larne town centre

A fire in the Bridge Street area of Larne yesterday evening was 'deliberate', Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service has said.

Two applicances from Larne Fire Stations were called to a gorse fire approximately 600m long at around 6.52pm on Tuesday.

"The cause of the fire appears to be deliberate," a spokesperson for NIFRS added.

"The incident was dealt with at 7.35pm."
