Could our Rachel be angel face of the North West?

Rachel Wallace (17) is an A level student at Limavady Grammar School.

She is one of the 12 finalists in a modelling competition organised by the Richmond Centre and Angel Model Agency.

The winner of the competition will become the face of the modelling agency and will be involved in advertising campaigns at the Londonderry shopping centre.

The 12 finalists will also feature in a calendar.

Rachel told The Times: "My friend actually entered me into the competition.

"I knew nothing about it until I got a message through Facebook to tell me that I was in the top 100. Now I am in the top 12, and I am absolutely delighted."

Rachel is studying Chemistry, Physics, Maths and German and is hoping to go on to university to study Pharmacy, but she says she would like to do a little bit of modelling on the side.

"I have loved the modelling stuff I have done through the competition.

"So maybe it would be nice to keep it on to help me through university."
