Consultation on future of NIFRS
The Public Consultation period will close on Wednesday 25th January 2012.
NIFRS wants to reduce the risk to the community from fire and other emergencies while at the same time deliver an affordable and sustainable service. Four draft proposals are contained within its Draft Integrated Risk Management Plan (IRMP) 2012-2015, which is essentially the Fire & Rescue Service’s approach to providing emergency cover across Northern Ireland.

A period of Public Consultation began on 26th October 2011. NIFRS would like to thank those who have responded to the consultation so far and is still keen to hear from those who may not have availed of the opportunity yet to help shape the future provision of their fire and rescue service.
