Coleraine store in line for all-Ireland award

The store on the Dunhill Road will do battle with other 44 businesses in Ireland’s only specialist awards in this retail sector.

Moran’s Centra has been shortlisted in two categories and will now battle it out at the seventh annual Ireland’s Forecourt & Convenience Retailer Awards (IFCR) 2012, supported by platinum sponsor PostPoint.

Hosted by TV3’s Sinead Desmond and the focal point of the retail calendar, these unique industry awards will take place at Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel on Friday, September 7 – where 14 category winners will be revealed before the overall winner is crowned Ireland’s Forecourt Retailer of the Year 2012 in a night of glitz and glamour.

The Coleraine store is a finalist in the category of Forecourt/Convenience Store of the Year.

In this section, Moran’s faces competition from similar stores in Co Fermanagh, Co Limerick, Co Antrim and Co Tipperary.

And in the category for Best Customer Service, the Coleraine business goes up against counterparts from Co Antro, Co Cork and Co Offaly.
