Carrickfergus students celebrate double award success
Erin McElvogue and David Stewart were double award winners at the Belfast college’s annual prize presentation.
A former Ulidia Integrated College pupil, Erin received the J.C. Davidson (Memorial) Cup, which recognises the most significant contribution to the subject of Physical Education by a graduate.

Hide AdShe was also a recipient of the prize presented by Stranmillis University College Association to graduating BEd (Primary) students who have, in the recorded judgements of tutors and supervising teachers, shown particular notable promise as a classroom practitioner,
David picked up the cup presented by the Society of Teachers in Business Education for the final year student adjudged to have made the greatest contribution to Business Studies.
An ex-student of Belfast Metropolitan College, David also won the Gail Addison Memorial Prize. Established in memory of a former student by her family and the staff and students of the college, it is awarded to the graduating BEd (Post Primary) student who has shown particular notable promise as a classroom practitioner.
