Carjacking
Carrick’s second “terrifying” incident of carjacking in just over a month has drawn strong condemnation from the community.
On Sunday evening the female driver of a green Renault Scenic was approached on the Woodburn Road by two males dressed in dark clothing and wearing dark hats. One of the men stepped out in front of her car and the second opened the door and dragged her out before making off in the vehicle.
The vehicle was found on fire a short time later in the Loughmourne Road area.
