Representatives from a range of local businesses gathered at the former Maghermorne House Hotel, now the local business base of Forever Living Products, to learn from Richard Collett, a leading marketing and communication management professional.
His presentation “Selling the Sizzle – how to stand out from your competitors in tough times through smart and cost effective marketing” set out the key characteristics of a successful business strategy.
Speaking after the event, Chairman of Larne Development Forum, Councillor Martin Wilson said: “In this tough economic climate, Richard gave a positive and upbeat message to local businesses to encourage them to focus on the customer and to highlight their unique selling point in order to secure business in a competitive market place”.
This was the third in a series of six planned vital business seminars on a range of relevant subjects organised by Larne Borough Council through Larne Development Forum and LEDCOM. The next subject in the series is a very exciting prospect for local businesses.
