Q: How easy would it be to remove the pebbledash from my house?

A: It could be straightforward, but it depends on what the pebbledash is attached to. Some pebbledash is stuck to a backing material and can be removed fairly easily without, on the whole, causing too much damage to the brickwork below. If, however, the pebbledash was applied directly to the brickwork, chipping it off will damage the bricks, unless the pebbledash is blown, and so is no longer adhered properly. To get an idea of whether this applies to yours, tap it gently with a hammer and listen for a hollow sound, but don't go any further without getting expert advice, because you could damage your home.
