Arrest after woman spotted smashing doors with hammer in Craigavon

Police said they received ‘multiple reports’ of a woman smashing doors with a hammer in the Clonmeen area.

The incidents happened at around 2.40am on Tuesday, 15 December.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Officers attended and a 55 year old woman was arrested for common assault, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.

“She is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting ref: 83 151215.”
