Appeal for return of photos and videos

Some time between 8.30pm and 11.30pm burglars entered the home of an elderly man through the rear window. The house was ransacked, and a number of items taken, including a laptop and a camcorder.

The camcorder contained video and pictures of a sentimental nature and the victim of this crime would be very keen to have these returned.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who noticed any unusual activity in the area is asked to contact detectives at Larne on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
