Appeal after assault
Police in Londonderry are appealing for witnesses following an assault in the Great James Street area of the city in the early hours of Saturday, November 5.
It is believed that that the assault took place at a house party sometime before 5am. The victim received head injuries that needed hospital treatment but are not believed to be life threatening.
A 39 year old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
