AA hold their annual convention

ANTRIM Area of Alcoholics Anonymous are holding their annual convention in the Clarion Hotel, Carrickfergus over the weekend of June 22-24.

A full programme of events will take place, including an Open Public Information meeting at 8pm on the Saturday evening.

If you or a member of your family or friends feel they have a problem with alcohol you are welcome to come along and get some information, which will be available.

If you like you could just have a chat with a member and get first hand information as to what Alcoholics Anonymous does and does not do.

The fellowship of Al - Anon, which helps the families of the alcoholic, will also be in attendance. They will offer help to those who need it.

It is hoped to have members of Al - Ateen in attendance. By its name they help the children of the alcoholic. For further information on the convention and for any other matter concerning Alcoholics Anonymous contact CSO on 02890 434848.
