Jayne and Emma set to choreograph Footloose

JAYNE McCrory and Emma Watson have been given the role of choreographing MADS! senior 15th anniversary production ‘Footloose The Dance Musical.’

Jayne has been attending university in Newcastle and has come home to choreograph Footloose. Jayne’s biggest roles in MADS! to date are starring as Tinkerbell in ‘Peter Pan’ and as Frances Baby Houseman in ‘Dirty Dancing’.

Emma Watson, former head girl of Lurgan College, is also choreographing Footloose. Emma recently choreographed MADS! junior 15th anniversary production ‘The Little Mermaid’, in which the dancing was up to a very high standard.

MADS! also welcome back experienced dancers Caroline Henry, Helen McCrory, Tammy Sharpe, Jenny Abraham, Kitty McGeown and Louise Watson.

Footloose will be performed five times at St Anthony’s Centre over two weekends. It opens on Friday, September 2 at 7.30pm. The show will continue on Sunday, September 4 at 7pm, Friday, September 9 at 7.30pm, Saturday, September 10 at 8.45pm (over 18s only). The show will then close with the final performance on Sunday, September 11 at 7.00pm.

Tickets cost £6 with the exception of the Saturday night performance in which tables are available at a cost of £10 per person and wine will be served. Tickets can be purchased from St Anthony’s Centre (3831 6496) or Print Business Supplies.
