“This group of songs takes us on a poetic voyage from dark to light,” says Kimmie, “longing to hope, ranging from dramatic dreaming to soulful playfulness.”

As part of the European tour, Kimmie has lined up some Irish dates, and asked specifically to come back to Portstewart, where she has won the hearts of audiences at Flowerfield over the last few years.

In support of the new release Kimmie has put together a special trio featuring multi instrumentalist and guitar virtuoso Gabriel Rhodes – who appeared here with her on her last visit, and she is especially pleased that they will be joined by her longtime French friend, Fred de Fred Gras, on keyboard and accordion.

Tickets for the show are priced at £12, and they’re available from reception at Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart. You can also call the centre on (028) 7083 1400 to pay for your tickets using a credit or debit card.
