Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Alderman Mark Fielding, said: “Our young people are the decision makers of the future and it’s important that their contribution to society is utilised from an early stage.

“The Youth Voice forum will facilitate engagement and allow us to learn from each other. We always need new people and fresh ideas coming through to participate in the borough’s future democracy and young people are central to this.”

Causeway Coast and Glens Youth Voice will meet on a regular basis to identify and take forward common issues relating to young people in the area. It will also offer opportunities for residential stays and study visits.
