Athletic club make donation to '˜Fun for Finlay' fund

Elaine Hall from Larne Athletic Club presents Karen Spiers with a £100 cheque for 'Fun for Finlay' towards Finlay's new running chair. Finlay has epilepsy and quadreplegia cerebral palsy and his new running chair has given him and his mum a new lease of life. Finlay is a regular at the Junior Park Run and his new chair, which is built for comfort, speed, manoeuvrability, has given him the opportunity to enter his first Larne Half Marathon on March 18.

Finlay has already completed a 10-mile training run with his mum who says he loves the social aspect of running and never stops smiling during the Sunday Coast Road training runs. She thanked Larne Athletic Club and everyone else who has made a donation towards Finlay’s new chair.
