Aoibhinn is on song

10-year-old Aiobhinn Mitchell recently passed her Grade 1 Musical Theatre examination with Merit and also passed her Piano Examination.

Aoibhinn, a pupil at Tannaghmore Primary School, is no stranger to the stage as she is a member of MADS. She has also featured in both Centre Stage Performing Arts Academy showcases this year.

Aoibhinn was vocal tutor Kirstie King’s very first student and both of them are delighted at the recent result.

Kirstie said: “This is a great achievement for both Aoibhinn and myself. Aoibhinn was one of my very first students and has attended every lesson and worked hard both in class and at home, so it just shows what you can achieve when you put your mind to it.

“All the students I teach are an absolute pleasure to work with and all have great potential and will be entered into grades and festivals throughout the next year. “
